The company

Gestion forestière Lacroix is a forestry company that owns a large private land area of approximately 60,000 hectares located in the center of the Gaspé Peninsula.

The company carries out forest harvesting, forest road maintenance, timber transportation, silvicultural work, and wildlife management.

The vast majority of the territory (90%) has wildlife reserve status (Dunière Wildlife Reserve). For the remaining 10%, Gestion forestière Lacroix has signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the application of sections 36 and 37 of the Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife.
