Forest Management

Lacroix Forest Management has been carrying out management work on its private land since approximately 1979. To date, more than 20,000 hectares (33% of the land) have been treated with pre-commercial thinning.

Land regeneration is carried out almost exclusively naturally. Replanting is carried out if an area shows insufficient regeneration.

Each year, the company carries out pre-commercial thinning work as a subcontractor, which allows for the hiring of approximately 20 workers.

Lacroix Forest Management has a general management plan (25 years) that is revised every five years.
