Gestion Forestière Lacroix’s harvesting operations use multifunctional processors. The logs produced are transported to lumber mills in the region. The company also carries out road work.
The annual allowable harvest is made up of approximately 114 000 m³ of CPRS (cutting with protection of natural regeneration and the soils) and approximately 31 000 m³ of commercial thinning, partial cuts and regeneration cuts. Gestion Forestière Lacroix’s unionized operations employ approximately 40 employees.
The company also generates employment through several entrepreneurs who act as subcontractors. In this way Gestion Forestière Lacroix contributes to creating and sustaining many direct and indirect jobs.
